Old Orchard Hill

Welcome to Old Orchard Hill

Located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the small town of Rockland, Old Orchard Hill has been faithfully restored to its original design as a company home for the copper mines that flourished in the area in the early 1900s.

In addition to the claw-foot tubs, the delicate brass hardware, marble sinks and period lighting, there are also modern conveniences. An elevator has been installed and free wireless internet, and LED cable television in the public rooms, are just a few of the conveniences.

Enjoy the century-old architecture, the quiet of small town America, and the traditional regional delights of saffron rolls, thimbleberry jam and Russian bread at breakfast. At every turn, there are surprising touches. Even a 1916 Model T Ford is on the grounds to bring back all the memories of a bygone era.
